What an amazing ride on Sunday. Greeted by great weather and even better enthusiasm the team left at 9am from the depot and ascended tenderfoot. A few who came later (remember..Sunday rides start at 9am) cruised up railroad grade and met the first group. Thanks Greg and Bob for helping keep everyone together! A few of us made it to coastal trail and rode our way up diaz ridge for what was a long, tough uphill…but everyone made it in great style.
Kudos to Shane for getting out with us after a tough battle with the flu. We all hope you’re feeling better! And thanks to those who have “the” all purpose tool with a chain tool. I broke a chain up tenderfoot but after a few minutes was able to get rolling with the crew. Guess I’ll be stopping at Tam bikes to get one of those tools.
A reminder that tomorrow’s ride leaves the Depot at 3:30. Be advised I am trying to coordinate another ride leader. If we do not have another leader we will postpone the “get to know your bike” clinic until Sunday.
Hope to see everyone out tommorrow!
