Hello Team-
We are on the eve of our third race…where does the time go? Here are a few last minute items that are essential for you to have an enjoyable race. Please take a minute to read through.  

  1. If you are riding in the vans (yes plural…we have the team van and the Peterson Truckster completely full) be at Gus Gym at noon sharp. Don’t assume we will wait if you are “running late”. We have a long drive with a lot of racers and will be pre-riding the course so it is a very, very big day. Rich and I were disappointed in the lack of music in the last race. No podiums for tunes but please…throw us a bone.
  2. Make sure you are prepared. Check the Feb 25th blog and take a look at the pre-race checklist. Its your responsibility to have everything you need to race. Yes…your teammates, coaches and parents will gladly help, assist and lend you anything you need but don’t assume we will have what you need. Be prepared. 
  3. Take care of yourself. Drink plenty of water on the ride down and have a healthy meal Saturday night with the team. Root beer floats and cheeseburgers are highly discouraged. Ensure your tank is full of the proper fuel.
