End of Season TT Results

By | May 17th, 2012|

Congratulations to everyone who showed up today and spent a bit of time in the “Pain Cave” on the Tam High TT course on RR Grade.  Time trials are about individual effort and suffering, and I was happy to see that everybody took that to heart.  The results are below.  For those who also did this in January, you can go back in the Blog and see how you have improved over the season.  Special thanks to Mae’s Dad, Jim, for helping with the timing, and congratulations to Clayton who now has the 8th grade record on the course (as far as we know).

1 Bob Siegel 0:07:09

Sunday Ride and Race #5 re-cap

By | May 12th, 2012|

Sunday – Depot 9am – plan for a long ride

Race #5 – While some riders were struggling with “Promovers” other riders had great race day results.  Anna finished another race in the Girls JV division, Amanda and Mae looked good in the Girls Soph division.  All three ladies scoring points for the team!  Cody in Boys Soph and Matthew in Boys Fresh both had their best finish place of the season.  A trip to Spain didn’t seem to hinder Jack as he placed 15th in Boys JV.  Dylan raced his new wheels to 15th in Boys Varsity.  Congratulations, everyone!

Thank you to all parents and athletes that helped out at the Stafford Lake race!  The NorCal League relies on many volunteers to run a successful event. Our Tamalpais HS families showed they know how to step up and volunteer.

Have you considered what to do with the $$ you didn’t spend traveling to the last race?  Donate to the Stafford Lake Bike Park! Support the development of this new park in our county. Imagine pump tracks, slalom courses, jumps and new single track trails.  Every penny helps. Do it today.

Stafford Race – Sunday Plans

By | May 5th, 2012|

Those of you who want to go in the Team Van on Sunday morning, please contact Rich first, to make sure there is room.

We’ll meet at Gus Gym at 7:30 AM Sunday to head up there. Remember to bring your Race Numbers as well as all your usual gear. Since the podium ceremonies will take a long time (finals), expect the van will be leaving after 5 PM, and probably back in Mill Valley close to 7 PM.
Please bring water and snacks, as there may not be much available up at the race venue. Encourage your parents to come, even if you decide to ride in the van!
