Wed ride 3:30 from the high school. We will be going pretty easy. Especially those of you who raced at Sea Otter last weekend. Speaking of Sea Otter, I was really glad to see so many of you out there. Mae(3rd), Laird (3rd), Dom (3rd), Lisa (3rd) and Johnny W (3rd) all on the podium! Also great rides from Laird (4th), Anna-Sofie (4th), Sean (9th), and Spence (10th)! Also mixing it up down there were Clayton, Gavin, Travis, MJ, Garrett, Bennett, Stuart and Will. So many, I might have missed some. It was great to see so many of you making the effort for a race that isn’t even part of Norcal. We also had a lot of our ride leaders throwing down. Greg A, Blair P, Bill W, Paul K, Terry G, Jim P, and Jack P. Whew!
I would like to hit Tamarancho, but I need to know who is in. Plan would be to meet either at the high school in time to Roll by 8:45 or at java hut in Fairfax in time to roll by 9:30. Please let me know if you are in and where you will meet us. Do you need a ride? A ride leader would be great as well…
Hey everyone. Again, I want to say fantastic job by everyone at Laguna Seca. Nancy has come up with a great idea to have everyone file a short race report that we can combine into a full team report. Can everyone PLEASE write to me and Christy. You don’t need to go crazy on this – unless you want to. Describe things like: the start, where you got away from people or got stuck behind them, where you felt good, and bad, what you think you could have done differently, whether you liked or didn’t like the water/Osmo etc., and anything else you feel like writing about. Please indicate if you don’t want your quotes attributed to you.
I’m going to lead an informal ride at 11:00 today. Plan is to start from the plaza and head over to the north side of Tam and back. 2 1/2 hrs or so. Moderate pace, no intensity. Please post a response or text me if you are in. If I don’t hear from anyone I will cancel.
First off, congratulations to everyone for an incredible team performance at Laguna Seca! 3rd place, just 20 points behind Drake! Also, if you haven’t registered for the state championships please do ASAP. Fields are filling up and you don’t want to get left out of a race taking place right here in Marin.
Ride Wednesday at 3:30. If you get out today (Tuesday) this is probably the last day to do anything hard. Keep it to 2 – 3 longer (5 -7 minute), less intense intervals. Tomorrow we will probably do a few short ones.
